P o r t r a i t

Portraits are a very important part of my practice. I often paint spontaneous, fun alla prima portraits of my friends, as well as larger commissions that are carefully researched and deeply felt. Every portrait brings me closer to the sitter and allows me to explore visual representation – not only of personality and character, but also of their history and lived experience. Even my blurred paintings mostly are portraits.
